Jeremy Old is the managing director, the lead TBD specialist and founder of the Team Business Development programme.

Jeremy has been using collaborative leadership principles for over twenty years with consistent success in a wide range of organisational settings including both the manufacturing and service sectors.

Jeremy has twenty years of experience planning change for clients and is qualified to MBA level. He has also acquired advanced coaching skills with a post-graduate diploma in psycho-therapy. Jeremy was an associate consultant with the Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS-SW) for eight years and has delivered training day workshops on organisational stress to public sector professionals and managers with Mindfields College.

Jeremy is the author of "Reinventing management thinking - Using science to liberate the human spirit" - In the book he explains why command and control doesn’t work from a psychological point of view and how this method of management is actually misaligned with the way the brain functions.

He explains his ‘30 organisational stressors’ model and shows how managers can use the human givens psychotherapy approach of emotional needs as a management tool to specifically pinpoint where and how stressors impact individual and group performance.

Importantly the book also describes how removing stressors and satisfying emotional needs greatly helps unleash the intrinsic motivation latent in us all.
